James Joshua Otto is a composer working across film, television, advertising, and theatre. 

A keen musical storyteller with an astute ear for nuance and detail, James blends his classical background with a contemporary cinematic sensibility that facilitates storytelling with subtlety and sensitivity. 

Having enjoyed collaborations with Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow, Segun Akinola, and Nainita Desai, James has worked on productions for Apple, the BBC, and National Geographic, as well as international advertising campaigns for Duracell, Bombay Sapphire, Costa Coffee, and Bridgestone Tyres.
